ALTROVE (“we”, “us”), founded by Abigail Leese, provides private client, lifestyle and support services in Italy. This policy explains how we collect, use and protect your personal data when you visit altrovelife.com (the “Site”) or contact us. For any question, write to services.altrove@gmail.com.

1. Data we collect

• Information you provide — when you use our contact form: your name, email address, the service you’re interested in, and the details of your message.
• Usage data — with your consent, we use Google Analytics to understand how the Site is used (pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type). This data is aggregated and does not directly identify you.
• Cookies — see section 4.

2. How we use it & legal bases

• To respond to your inquiries and provide our services — on the basis of your request and steps taken prior to a contract.
• To understand and improve the Site — on the basis of your consent (analytics).

We do not sell your personal data.

3. Who we share it with

We rely on trusted providers who process data on our behalf:

• Netlify — website hosting and contact-form handling.
• Google (Google Analytics) — website analytics, only with your consent.

These providers may process data outside the EU/EEA (e.g. the United States); where they do, appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses are in place.

4. Cookies & analytics

The Site uses cookies only for analytics, and only if you accept them. On your first visit, a banner lets you Accept or Decline. Google Analytics runs with Google Consent Mode: until you accept, no analytics cookies are stored. You can change your choice at any time by clearing the site’s stored preference in your browser, which will bring the banner back.

5. Data retention

• Contact inquiries — kept only as long as needed to handle your request and our relationship, then deleted.
• Analytics — retained according to Google Analytics’ retention settings.

6. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the processing of your personal data, to object to processing, and to data portability. We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, and the Site is served over HTTPS.
